The new 10.5” Pencil barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO clocks in at less than 1 pound, focusing on maximum maneuverability and versatility for any pistol or SBR platform.
Focusing on removing all possible weight, the 10.5” Pencil barrel is formally rated at .9 lbs. including the barrel extension. The barrel is set up for standard carbine length gas systems, using a .625” diameter gas block journal, 1.1” in length – ideal for low-profile and light weight gas blocks.
The barrels feature a 1/8 twist, conventionally rifled 100% in-house by Faxon under our numerous quality certifications. For maximum versatility, the barrels are chambered in 5.56 NATO and feature concentric 1/2x28 threads with a relieved shoulder. The 4150 certified gun barrel quality steel is individually magnetic particle inspected and finished with a durable and resilient nitride.
